Rum Based Cocktails


Mojito Recipe:
     Mojito 


INGREDIENTS:

60 ml light rum
2 Bar spoon brown sugar
6-8 mint leaves
4-5 Lime chunks
 halvedClub soda


PREPARATION:

Place the sugar, the mint leaves, and a lime chunks into a highball glass.
 Muddle well to dissolve the sugar and to release the mint flavor.
Add the rum.
Stir. Fill the glass with crushed ice..
 Add the rest of the club soda.

GARNISH: Lime and mint

GLASSWARE: Rock Glass.

PinaColada Recipe


INGREDIENTS:
PinaColada

45ml light rum
80ml pineapple juice
10ml Malibu coconut rum
30ml coconut cream

PREPARATION:
Pour the ingredients into a shaker with crushed ice.
Shake well.
Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass filled with ice

GARNISH: Pineapple

Caipirinha Recipe



Caipirinha

INGREDIENTS: 
60ml cachaca 
8 lime wedges

2 Bar spoon brown sugar


PREPARATION:


Place the lime wedges and sugar in a glass. 
Muddle well.
 Add cachaca. 
Fill the glass with ice & Stir well.




Garnish: Lime Slice.


Planter's Punch Ricipe


Planter's Punch
INGREDIENTS:

45ml dark rum
20ml lemon juice 
5ml grenadine
Club soda


PREPARATION:

Pour all of the ingredients, except the club soda, into a shaker 
filled with ice cubes. 
Shake well. 
Strain into a hi-ball glass with ice cubes. 
Top the glass with the club soda. 


GARNISH: Rasberry/ Cherry

Caipirini Recipe

Caipirini




INGREDIENTS: 
60ml cachaca 
8 lime wedges

2 Bar spoon brown sugar 
30ml sour mix

PREPARATION:

Place lime wedges and sugar into Mix, then muddle the contents.
 Add the cachaça,and fill  the mixture in the shaker & Shake well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish: Lime slice




Cuba Libre Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
60ml rum
15ml fresh lime juice
120ml cola

PREPARATION:
Pour the rum and lime juice in a hi-ball glass filled with ice.
Top with cola.



GARNISH:   Lime Slice




Daiquiri (Frozen)


INGREDIENTS:

Daiquiri 

 60ml light rum
15 ml triple sec
30ml lime juice
10ml simple sugar syrup

PREPARATION:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
Blend well at high speed.
Pour into cocktail glass

GARNISH: Mint leaves/Lime slice


GLASSWARE: Cocktail/Martini Glass or Margrita Glass


Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe



INGREDIENTS:

 60ml light rum
 15 ml triple sec
30ml lime juice
10ml simple sugar syrup
fresh strawberries

 PREPARATION:
Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
 Blend well at high speed.
Coat the glass rim with caster sugar.
Pour into cocktail glass

GARNISH:  Strawberry

GLASSWARE: Martini Glass / Margrita glass


Hurricane Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

            Hurricane

45ml light rum
45ml dark rum
45ml passion fruit juice
30ml orange juice
1 Bar spoon simple syrup
1 Bar spoon grenadine

PREPARATION:
Squeeze juice from half a lime into shaker over ice.
Pour the remaining ingredients into the shaker.
Shake well.
Strain into a hi-ball glass.

GARNISH: Strawberry

GLASSWARE: Hurricane Glass.







Long Island Iced Tea Recipe:


               Long Island Iced Tea

INGREDIENTS:

20ml vodka
20ml light rum
20ml gin
20ml tequila
20ml triple sec
20ml sour mix
Coke

PREPARATION:
Pour the spirits and sour mix into a shaker with ice.
Shake for 2 seconds.
Pour into a hi-ball glass.
Top the glass with cola.

GARNISH: Lemon.

GLASSWARE: High Ball .




Mai Tai Recipe



Mai Tai
INGREDIENTS:
30ml light rum
30ml dark rum
15ml amaretto
15ml triple sec
15ml lime juice


PREPARATION:

Pour all the ingredients except the dark rum into a shaker with ice cubes.
Shake well.
 Strain into a rocksglass filled with cracked or crashed ice.
Top with the dark rum.

GARNISH: Pineapple.



Rum Runner Recipe:

Rum Runner

INGREDIENTS:

45ml gold rum
15ml blackberry liqueur
15ml crème de banana
120ml orange juice
1 Bar spoon of grenadine

PREPARATION:
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake well.
Serve into a chilled cocktail glass.
Optional: Pour ingredients into blender withapproximately 3/4 cup of ice and blend until smooth.


GARNISH:Strawbeeey and lime
